    The Outnet.com lazy days...

You have to checkout Outnet.com as they have put together a collection of pieces suitable for an Indian Summer… and even though a lot of us may be thinking about saving our money for the new AW collections hitting the shops some of these pieces are great transitional wear and classic fashion keepers.

Outnet.com is Net-a-porter's sister company. It's philosophy is ChicEnomics and often has great designer finds with up to 70% off. So if you love Net-a-porter but don't have the budget to match Outnet.com is definitely for you.

Our personal favourites from the Lazy Days, Fashion for an Indian Summer collection are the Vanessa Bruno's suede ankle boots in camel and navy, these are still very much on-trend for next season and a great bargain! Also after Threads homage to the 'satchel' last week we particularly love the Vanessa Bruno's chain-strap leather satchel, a Threads Styling AW10 'must-have'. We also love this Alice + olivia peachy blouse, See by Chloe yellow silk top, Jimmy Choo camel suede sandals… the list could go on…

Chictopia is a fun website to view global street style... you may have to trawl through several fashion frogs to find a fashion princess but they are definitely there to be found.

Today Rosaleah from Brisbane caught our eye with her effortless but chic workwear. She makes dressing for work seem fun rather than hard-work and describes her own style as 'romantic style for everyday' and we agree.

  • The Perfect Satchel...

The Perfect Satchel... The Perfect Satchel...

We know the sun is still shining and some of you are yet to go on holiday but here at Threads we can't help but get pulled into the new and very gorgeous AW10 collections that are popping up everywhere... we are already on the hunt for this seasons perfect wedge boot, the perfect coat and most importantly the perfect bag...

So today Thread's blog is dedicated to what we see as a 'must buy' for AW10 and that is the classic satchel. The satchel - once owned is a timeless addition to any wardrobe and you can find great ones from the high-street to designer... there is a satchel for every budget, lifestyle and personality!

Here are a few of our favourites... Proenza Schouler PS1 in tan leather or grey suede, Mulberry's Alexa in black or Neely in nude patent leather, Chloe's Darla leather tote or the Faithful leather satchel in light brown by Alexander McQueen.

For the best on the high-street have a look at Oasis, Topshop and ASOS for fashion style satchels and then Urban Outifitters for something more traditional and cambridge style and one of our personal favourite Aspinal of London's Portobello Saddle Bag.

I know most of us have already bought/holidayed in our bikini's by now but I really wanted to post a note about Violet Lake, a newly launched bikini line. Their classic cuts and mix and match concept has something for everyone.

So for those still looking, look no further and for those of us who already have our bikini's, one more won't hurt... This is definitely one to watch as I think we will be seeing a lot more of Violet Lake!

"Violet Lake is the brainchild of Ursula Lake who has been working as a Fashion Editor for more than 8 years... She currently holds the position of Contributing Fashion Editor for the Sunday Telegraph’s Stella Magazine. The idea of Violet Lake had been in Ursula’s mind for a long time but in 2009, after an exhaustive and disappointing search for the right bikini, she finally decided to design her own line. She felt there was a real lack of well fitting, flattering bikinis in quality fabrics that weren't extremely expensive." (Violet lake 2010)

Threads Styling are definitely big fans.
